Udemy.com is a low-cost app designed to help you and your employees learn any skill fast. The app gives you access to high-quality training content and access to actual instructors. With more than 180,000 online video courses, it’s easy to study new skills and equip your employees with the knowledge they need to continue growing.
We love it because it gives our employees a chance to expand their skill set in a number of areas including design, marketing, IT and software, photography, and music. That means they can take courses that benefit our customers while also gaining new skills that help them grow personally. Who doesn’t want a web developer who understands IT and can play the piano?!
This one is all about improving our workflow. This free AwesomeScreenshot app (there’s also a paid version) is a great way to pass information along between developers and capture any bugs in the web development process. The app allows you to record your screen and camera, annotate screenshots, and easily send snapshots through Slack, Asana, Trello, etc.
With more of our employees working from home off and on, it’s hugely beneficial to make it as easy to share information as possible. With this simple app, our employees can share information between themselves and our clients. It’s a win-win.
